Danielle Sabestinas

Senior Director of Operations

In the fall of 2023, Danielle Sabestinas joined the AssuranceSD team as the Senior Director of Operations initially providing support to PremierFMS. With over a decade of experience, Danielle has held numerous leadership roles in self-direction, self-directed care services, and consumer-directed care. Throughout her career, Danielle has used her skills to align operational strategies with participant-centric approaches, enhance participant satisfaction, and foster lasting relationships between financial intermediaries and their participants and families. 

Having dedicated her career to serving diverse populations across multiple states, Danielle has amassed invaluable experience in various leadership positions within the consumer-directed care service sector. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Danielle has seen it all, serving case manager roles and consultant supervisor roles where she worked directly with participants and created new systems for billing and providing services.

I’ve never worked with such a dedicated group of professionals, committed to supporting our customers to successfully self-direct. Everyone works as a team and goes above and beyond to help.

In her leadership roles, Danielle has gained an exceptional understanding of state and federal contractual rules and guidelines, she has led large-scale programs, effectively managed teams of 30 employees to over 400, and has ensured compliance while delivering improved participant experiences. Her strategic leadership in financial management services has resulted in improved client satisfaction ratings and organic growth. 

At PremierFMS and AssuranceSD, Danielle continues to use her leadership experience to improve PremierFMS’ daily operations. She oversees several operational teams, including the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) staff. Regarding EVV, Danielle has played an important role in reimplementing EVV. She’s helped make EVV more accessible to PremierFMS participants and Direct Care Professionals, including the development of user guides and internal and external training that helps make the service easier to manage. 

Throughout her career, Danielle has a proven track record of exceptional leadership, innovative problem-solving, and dedication to advancing self-directed care services. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the PremierFMS and AssuranceSD team and looks forward to shaping the future of consumer-directed care services for PremierFMS participants.
