The last county in the state gets Family Care/IRIS. IRIS serves over 15,500 individuals and Family Care is just over 50,000.
Governor Scott Walker and the state expand Family Care and IRIS to the entire state ending wait lists to the program.
Family Care serves more than 30,000 members in 56 counties.
IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) program is established and is offered in all counties that offer Family Care.
DHS requests to expand Family Care to more counties. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) asks WI to develop a stand-alone self-directed program before they approve the expansion of Family Care.
