This month, PremierFMS will be attending the Building Together Conference. This conference provides advocates with tools for supporting individuals in self-directing their long-term care services. The event will take place next Monday and Tuesday. It is hosted by the Utah Developmental Disabilities Council.
The conference website shares, “This event is all about empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and others by working to improve person-centered practices.” Those who attend the event, can:
- Learn strategies to support individuals with disabilities
- Visit interactive sessions
- Listen to live speaker sessions, and
- Network with small businesses and community resources
