World Autism Acceptance Month: PremierFMS Celebrates Month of Inclusion and Awareness

April is World Autism Acceptance Month (WAAM). In April and all months, PremierFMS stives to promote understanding, inclusion, and support for people with autism. We also encourage acceptance of different abilities and perspectives.

History of WAAM

  • The United Nations declared April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day.
  • Over time, the focus shifted from awareness to acceptance.

Autism Facts

  • Autism affects people of all backgrounds.
  • Early support and services help people with autism thrive.

The campaign encourages individuals and communities to create a more accepting world. It does this by sharing stories and advocating for meaningful change.
